Classical Rating List — Audited League Closure, Q16 & Q8

The Classical league has been closed on a balanced audited corpus of 920 games, with 92 games per engine, 46 with White and 46 with Black, 460 mirrored units and pair ratio 0. HypnoS has subsequently been excluded from the published rating list and Q16 eligibility because the required public source-code reference could not be established. Brainlearn31 enters Q16 as the designated replacement. Q16 is now in its final scheduled match. Q16_M1 between Deepalienist and BrainlearnJRC was audited as a 10.0–10.0 draw over 20 valid games after removal of the two contaminated mirrored opening units. The subsequent tiebreak has now resolved the pairing in favor of BrainLearnJRC, which advances to Q8. Q16_M2 was audited in full: Wordfish-5.20-040826 defeated DarkSeid v12.3 ME by 14.0–10.0 over 24 valid games and qualified. Q16_M3 was audited under IJCCRL Rules+: after removal of the mirrored unit affected by the Game 1 time loss, Raid v7.4 won the corrected 22-game sporting result 13.5–8.5 over CorChess and qualified. Q16_M4 was audited in full: Revolution-6.10-310726 defeated TACTICAL 090626 by 14.0–10.0 over 24 valid games and qualified. Q16_M5 was audited under IJCCRL Rules+: after removing Games 17–20 as the two complete mirrored opening units affected by three proxy_fatal / readyok timeout incidents, Hlamnick 010826 won the canonical 20-game result 10.5–9.5 over Stockfish 18 and qualified. Q16_M6 was audited in full: Killfish 010726 defeated Dark SisTer 17 by 13.5–10.5 over all 24 valid games and qualified. Q16_M7 has now been audited in full: SpecTral 17 defeated StockfishJRC-2.60-290726+sse41popcnt by 14.0–10.0 over 24/24 valid Classical games, with 12 complete mirrored units, exact 12 White / 12 Black balance per engine, pair ratio 0 and no trimming required; SpecTral qualifies. Q16_M8 — Brainlearn31-x86-64-sse41-popcnt vs Artemis 43TR_PrO_sse41 — has now been resolved by the audited Q16_TIE1 / TB1 tiebreak. The first complete mirrored pair was decisive: Artemis 43TR_PrO scored 1.5–0.5 over Brainlearn 31 across 2/2 valid games, with exact 1 White / 1 Black balance per engine, pair ratio 0, no trimming required, one threefold-repetition draw and one checkmate victory for Artemis. Under the Q16 tiebreak rule, the first decisive complete mirrored pair ends the tiebreak; Artemis 43TR_PrO is qualified for the next phase and Brainlearn 31 is eliminated. The rating scale remains anchored to a common Elo base of 3600. The Q8 phase is now fully configured using the eight Q16 bracket positions in order: Q16_M1 through Q16_M8 become Q8 seeds #1 through #8, then pair #1 vs #8, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6 and #4 vs #5. With BrainLearnJRC qualified from Q16_M1, the quarterfinals are BrainLearnJRC vs Artemis, Wordfish vs SpecTral, Raid vs Killfish and Revolution vs Hlamnick.
