Fix a bug where bestValue could decrease during quiescence search pruning, producing non‑monotonic values observed in practice.

The change mirrors the Stockfish patch (dev-20260106-c27c1747) to avoid bestValue going down in the SEE pruning branch.

Keeping bestValue monotonic prevents inconsistent alpha/beta updates and improves stability of transposition table entries.

Wordfish 3.70 070126 crashes when “MCTS Enabled” is selected.
It runs fine without “MCTS Enabled.”

  Hello, integrating MCTS into Wordfish without directly copying or cloning code from other engines is not easy. But today I will leave it closed, so that it works without interrupting the engine. On the other hand, I have the mini PC changing the RAM and cleaning, and that is where I compile the modern instructions. From my server, I can only compile from avx backwards. However, I’m also going to solve this by compiling from Linux on a VPS that I’ve rented. Please be patient, and I apologize for any problems you may have with some of the UCI engine options. Keep in mind that MCTS is experimental. Best regards, and thank you for your feedback.

Please use ‘Wordfish 3.70 070126 avx2’.
